As a small Community Tennis Club, Thornhill are no different to any other community club around the Country, we are dependent on grants and donations to enable us to keep the club going. And of course our Committee and Members.
Grants are becoming harder to secure these days, but in 2026 we have also been lucky enough to secure some support from local Companies. Without this form of support we would not have been able to update our Court perimeter fence and update and decorate our social cabin.
We cannot thank everyone enough for their kind support…………… but THANK YOU!!! We will continue to advertise your businesses through our website and social media.

Co-operative Community Fund
The Co-Operative Community Fund help local community projects by donating grants to worthy causes that meet their grant specifications. We were lucky to be granted an amount of money to enable us to get some new banners for our courts, advertising our club. Thank you, the Co-op.

ASDA Foundation
Very similar to the Co-operative Community Fund, the Asda Foundation give grants to community projects. We have been lucky enough to win grants from Asda in order to continue with our Coaching program. The grant enables us to keep the cost of coaching to a minimum, thereby enabling everyone the opportunity to give tennis a try. Thank you Asda.
